RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist in various ways during month-end close
• Provide cross check on cattle costs & wires
• Review and verify invoices and check requests
• Sort, code and match invoices
• Monitor accounts to ensure payments are up to date
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies and issues
• Maintain vendor files
• Produce monthly reports and assist in month end closing
• Post transactions to journals, ledgers and other records
• Employee meat orders and charges
• Create purchase requisitions
• Weekly bank deposit reconciliation

Minimum Requirements (State educational and job experience requirements):

• High School degree required
• Accounting experience preferred

Abilities Required (List any specific physical requirements):

• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word)
• Ability to multi-task
• Must be willing to work well with others and cross-train on multiple jobs
• Good Attendance is very crucial - Internal candidates must have 2 or fewer points
