Job Details MTAC is actively recruiting armed security officers in Williamsport, Maryland for seasonal coverage. The selected individuals will be assigned to cover various armed posts in Williamsport, MD. Compensation for this position is $28.00 per hour.

Job Duties and Responsibilities May Include - Facility patrols
- Assisting employees and visitors
- Responding to alarms
- Report writing
- Adherence to all applicable rules and regulations
- Perform duties in a professional manner
- Maintain situational awareness
Working Conditions and Physical/Mental Demands - May be exposed to stressful situations, such as challenging individuals who are in or approaching an unauthorized area
- Stand or walk constantly (for up to an entire shift) on various surfaces (tile, concrete, carpet)
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift, run as needed
- Occasionally bend/twist at waist/knees/neck to perform various duties
- Frequent moving and/or lifting
Minimum Qualifications - United States citizenship
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Driver's License and Social Security Card
- Reliable method of transportation
- Maryland Security Guard Card
- Maryland Handgun Permit
- Pass drug screening and background investigation
- A reasonable level of physical fitness
- Knowledge of, or ability to learn security operations and procedures
- Ability to read and write the English language fluently
- Ability to maintain professional composure when dealing with unusual circumstances
- Ability to adapt to changes in the environment and organization
Certification Requirements - Maryland Guard Card
- First Aid/CPR/AED Certification
- Baton and OC Spray Certification
- Maryland Armed Security Guard Credentials
Education Requirements - High School Diploma or GED
