Seeking an experienced Background Investigator / Analyst, the full-time remote position will manage investigations related to personnel risk by partnering with HR, Information Security, and Legal teams to deliver comprehensive analytical reports and actionable recommendations. Key Responsibilities Leverage open-source intelligence (OSINT) and commercial investigative tools for comprehensive information gathering and research Verify the accuracy and reliability of information from various sources while conducting quantitative risk analysis Partner with HR, Legal, and Information Security teams to identify and mitigate personnel security risks Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice, Criminology, Psychology, Intelligence Studies, or a related field (or equivalent work experience) 3-5 years of professional experience in background investigations, due diligence research, or related investigative work Proficiency with investigative research databases and tools Strong written communication skills for synthesizing complex findings into clear risk assessments Understanding of privacy regulations and ethical standards governing background investigations
