Location: Cypress, TX (Serving 77095, 77429, 77433) Company: Assisting Hands Home Care – Cypress Position Type: Part-Time About the Role Assisting Hands Cypress is seeking a compassionate and dependable individual to provide high-quality companionship and transportation for a male client (and periodically his wife for errands). We pride ourselves on matching our caregivers with clients based on shared interests and cultural understanding to ensure the highest level of comfort and dignity. Due to the nature of the companionship requested, we are seeking a candidate who is familiar with Indian culture and/or speaks Hindi to help our clients maintain their routine and feel at ease in their home environment. Primary Responsibilities Companionship: Engage in meaningful conversation, light activities, and social interaction with the client and his wife. Transportation: Provide safe and reliable transport for the client and his wife to medical appointments, grocery shopping, or social outings using your own vehicle or the client’s vehicle. Safety & Monitoring: Ensure the client’s safety at all times, providing standby assistance and reporting any changes in health or behavior to the office. Qualifications & Preferences Cultural Familiarity: Deep understanding of Indian cultural norms, traditions, and etiquette is highly preferred to provide the best fit for this specific household. Language: Fluency or proficiency in Hindi is a significant plus. Client Preference: This role is for a male client who has expressed a preference for a male caregiver for companionship and personal comfort. Reliable Transportation: A valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record are required . Must have a reliable, insured vehicle. Experience: Previous experience in home care or senior companionship is preferred but not required. We will train the right person with the right heart. Requirements Ability to pass a comprehensive criminal background check. Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S. Compassionate, patient, and professional demeanor. Why Join Assisting Hands?
