Job Description

An AI GovTech Startup is looking for a Chief of Staff with 3-5 years of experience to act as a force multiplier for the founders and help scale the company from its early growth stage to IPO. The ideal candidate is a high-slope individual from a top-tier consulting, banking, or high-growth startup background who thrives in chaotic, unstructured environments and can help bring order to the founders' priorities. This role is critical for optimizing company operations, managing strategic projects, and ensuring the leadership team is synchronized as we hyperscale.

What will you be doing?

• Act as an extension of the three founders, reconciling their priorities and optimizing schedules to ensure they can connect and align on strategy.
• Own the operating rhythm of the company, including stand-ups, offsites, and planning cycles to keep the team executing in sync.
• Temporarily manage RevOps functions, including sales metric reporting, goal setting, and tracking progress until a Head of Sales is hired.
• Design and execute the global conference and go-to-market calendar, managing all logistics to place startup in the right rooms with the right people.
• Leverage AI-powered workflows and vibe-code internal tools to eliminate operational drag and drive cross-functional execution across the company.

Who you are:

• 3 - 5 years of experience in a Chief of Staff/Strategy Ops role in a Series A- C startup environment or Investment banking/Consulting
• Background in executive/partner ops, not general business operations.
• Veterans transitioning into an ops/startup roles
• Degree in CS, Economics, Business, or International Relations (IR).
• Able to support all co- founders simultaneously (not a 1: 1 EA function) and take on pseudo- CRO/sales ops responsibilities
• Demonstrated AI fluency and ability to build internal tools.
• High energy, fast- paced communicator who thrives in chaos.
• Must be a U. S. citizen or authorized to work in the US.
• Must work on- site in San Francisco 5 days/week.
