Job Description
Faith Christian Academy is an established private Christian, classical, and collaborative school in Kansas City, Missouri. We are a professional and supportive team of educators devoted to offering a Christ centered education using a classical approach. As a collaborative school, we are on campus on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday and provide lessons to parents for school-at-home days on Tuesday and Thursday. We are a PreK - 12th grade school with a student population of about 400.
We are looking for passionate and dedicated teachers to share the love of God with our students while teaching in an academically rich environment. We need a Prekindergarten, kindergarten, first grade, and elementary PE teacher.
These candidates will be responsible for following and delivering engaging lessons and guidance to young students as they begin their education at FCA. The ideal candidate will be a committed Christian who is willing to work on a teaching team, create a love of learning, and learn about education as it was intended to be. We are particularly interested in classroom teachers who are familiar with phonics (Orton-Gillingham), number sense, and who are willing to learn classical pedagogy.
Our faculty is on campus three days a week and can work from home on Tuesday and Thursday.
