(Shift times will vary with facility schedule) Responsibilities To assess patient health problems and needs To develop and implement nursing care plans and maintain electronic medical records To use strong patient assessment skills with experience in recovery of post anesthesia patients To identify pertinent patient history during admission process Serves as a patient/family advocate Qualifications Current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Michigan Previous clinical or hospital nursing experience, preferred 1.5-2 years of previous nursing experience in a surgical environment, preferred Current CPR certification required Current ACLS Provider certification (must be obtained within 6 months of hire) required Must be authorized to work in the US Must successfully pass pre-employment drug screen and background check Benefits A professional work environment where you can learn, enhance your skills and grow into new opportunities.
