Under the administrative supervision of the Program Director or designee, this position represents the parent perspective at the management level within the agency. The role includes providing support and advocacy to families, ensuring the "family voice" at all levels of programming, and providing direct supervision to staff members.
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, in-school assistance; in-home support; mentoring; skills development; crisis intervention; troubleshooting/problem solving; parental guidance; support and education when requested. Provides prompt intervention in the event of a crisis, both to resolve the crisis and to notify, when indicated, persons and/or agencies necessary for the resolution of the crisis.
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with schedule flexibility depending on program's needs. Compensation: $23.00 - $25.90 an hour.
