Our client, a popular streetwear and lifestyle brand, is looking for a dependable freelance technical designer to join their Torrance, CA team!

Responsibilities:

• Develop technical specifications : Create detailed tech packs including construction details, specifications, and bill of materials (BOMs).
• Ensure proper fit : Lead fittings and provide feedback on drape, fit, and proportions.
• Collaborate with others : Work with designers, production teams, and factories to ensure that each design is executed accurately.
• Troubleshoot issues : Identify and resolve fit and construction issues in a timely and professional manner.
• Stay up to date : Research new materials, technologies, and trends.
• Manage projects : Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards.

Requirements:

• Knowledge of fit, measuring, and garment construction.
• Must be willing to work freelance.
• Experience in Action Sports or Streetwear environments preferred.
• 4+ years of experience.
