Job Description

Job Responsibilities:
1. Set and write the Portrayed Game World according to the game producers’ requirements.
2. Set the game plot in accordance with the game’s portrayed world.
3. Refining elements within the portrayed world to set the needs and materials for the art production of scenes and in-game characters.
4. Portray the various systems based on the portrayed world to ensure the immersive feeling of players in the game.
5. Conduct targeted culture research according to the demand of product development.
6. Write game publicity articles and product announcements in accordance to the demand and needs provided by product’s promotion plan & market strategy.

Job Requirements：
1. Extensive understanding of American pop culture.
2. Rich imagination, strong story-telling ability, good knowledge of traditional culture and sensitivity to popular culture.
3. Proficient in writing genres such as romance and drama.
4. Lots of experience with popular games, especially Match-3 games, and a passion for online game production industry.
5. Diligent and dedicated, with good communication skills and cooperation spirit.
6. Have strong literary ability.
7. Experience working with international teams in different time zones.
8. Have experience in game narrative or published novels and plays (a big plus).

Basic information:
Job type: Full-time in-office position in Shanghai
Work Visa in Shanghai: Provided
Salary: 18k-25k RMB (or more depending on experience)
Working hours: Monday to Friday 10am-7pm (including one-hour break)
