Pat’s Offroad, Inc. is a growing oilfield service company based in the Gillette, Wyoming area. We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced  Shop Diesel Mechanic to join our team immediately.

This is a  full-time position , with typical hours ranging from 40–50 hours per week . The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, and takes pride in producing quality work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, pickup trucks, and company equipment
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues
• Repair and maintain specialized heating and field equipment
• Perform welding and fabrication work as required
• Conduct preventative maintenance inspections on trucks and equipment
• Replace faulty components and ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate maintenance records
• Assist with additional shop and operational duties as needed
  

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Diesel Mechanic or in a similar mechanical role
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, components, and mechanical systems
• Welding and fabrication experience preferred
• Ability to use diagnostic software, tools, and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
• Detail-oriented with a strong work ethic
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding work
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Reliable transportation to the shop in Gillette, WY
  

Additional Requirements

All candidates must successfully pass:

• Pre-employment urinalysis
• Motor vehicle record check
• Background screening
  

Compensation

Compensation will be based on experience and qualifications.
