Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles is a growing psychiatric hospital dedicated to serving both adult and geriatric populations. Since opening our first facility in 2015 in Magnolia, Mississippi, we have expanded to 12 locations across Louisiana, Texas, and Mississippi.
As we continue to grow, we are actively expanding our Lake Charles team in preparation for increasing our capacity to a total of 42 beds, serving both adult and geriatric patients.

AHospital Administrator at Freedom Behavioral Lake Charles is responsible for overseeing the overall operations, leadership, and performance of a mental health facility. They ensure the hospital runs efficiently while maintaining high standards of patient care, safety, and regulatory compliance.
This role includes managing staff, budgets, and daily operations; developing policies and procedures; and ensuring compliance with healthcare laws and accreditation standards. The administrator works closely with clinical leadership to support quality patient care, improve outcomes, and implement programs that meet the needs of the population served.
They also focus on strategic planning, employee engagement, and community relations, helping the facility grow while maintaining a therapeutic and supportive environment. Strong leadership, decision-making, communication, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role.
PREFERRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND/OR EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Education: Bachelor's Degree, preferably administration/business related
License: None Required
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years in a Leadership Position in a Hospital/Nursing Facility serving Senior Adults with Psychiatric Issues
