Job Description

Internship Summary:

The Hospitality Intern plays a key role in creating excellent experiences for missionaries, guests, and teams visiting our Orlando campus. Working alongside the Sr. Director of Hospitality & Campus Operations and the Hospitality Management Team, this intern gains hands-on exposure to event operations, guest services, communication, and behind-the-scenes logistics that make impactful gatherings possible. This is a dynamic and fast-paced internship for someone who loves serving others, thrives in detail-oriented work, and is energized by bringing events to life from start to finish.

Responsibilities:
  • Partner with multiple Pioneers teams to plan, coordinate, and execute events for missionaries, visiting teams, and external groups.
  • Assist with event setup, tear-down, hospitality service, and guest support to ensure smooth and welcoming experiences.
  • Create and analyze feedback assessments to improve event quality and satisfaction.
  • Support marketing and communication efforts for rental spaces, including evaluating social media and digital signage strategies.
  • Explore innovative ideas and evaluate return on investment opportunities for promotional tools such as LED displays and digital signage.
  • Participate in Hospitality Team meetings, check-ins, and collaborative planning rhythms.
Qualifications:
  • Passion for serving others through hospitality, event coordination, or guest experience work.
  • Coursework or experience in hospitality, communication, business, or customer service is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; friendly, professional, and approachable.
  • Desire to grow spiritually and support the mission, values, and community of Pioneers.
  • Self-starter who anticipates needs, solves problems, and manages time effectively.
  • Highly teachable, eager to learn, and comfortable receiving feedback.
  • Ability to uphold confidentiality and perform administrative tasks with excellence.

Internship Program Expectations
  • May 26 - July 31
  • 10 weeks in Orlando, FL serving the US-Mobilization Base.
  • 30 hours per week
    • This is an unpaid internship
  • Housing is provided by the program
  • Interns must provide their own transportation to and from the office
  • Intern Orientation
  • Intern Debrief/Final Week
  • 6 hours of in-person coaching over the course of the internship
