Revenue ManagerIt is the responsibility of the Revenue Manager to aid the Director of Hotel Operations in overseeing the business process designed to optimize the financial performance of our operation through all market conditions. The key components of this process include tracking, forecasting, pricing, inventory management, distribution, and internal communication. This position must also exhibit a high level of professional and personalized guest service that embodies the company's brand standard and core values (K.E.E.P. – Kindness, Engagement, Empathy, and Positivity).Responsibilities:Assisting the management of pricing and optimization strategies and oversight of all distribution channels to ensure the maximum yield of hotel room revenue.Building and maintaining the revenue reports, holiday report, FODR, and additional reports used to ensure the maximum yield of hotel room revenue.Overseeing production of Nor1, a program that will implement revenue maximization practices such as advance upgrade, front desk upsell, and other key programs to lift ADR on booked reservations and continue to manage this program on a day-to-day basis.Monitoring room inventory daily and setting restrictions accordingly (minimum/maximum length of stay, closed to arrival, limited inventory) in order to maximize occupancy and ultimately room revenue.Keeping current and aware of all room rates, packages, specials, and other hotel/casino information that customers may inquire about; ensuring the accuracy of information and responsible for communicating this information to all employees in the reservations department.Working with the reservation call center to ensure sales and pricing strategies are effective based on conversion ratios and consumer monitoring.Working with the casino in planning for special promotions and events to ensure room blocks are correct.Monitoring and tracking promos yielding rate when and where possible.Being able to prepare weekly pace report by compiling all prevalent data from multiple reports into approved format.Keeping log of all trends, events, citywide and in-house conventions, etc. that affect hotel occupancy.Updating and analyzing calendars daily for yield possibility.Monitoring OTA allotments adding and removing where necessary.Running and analyzing competitor pricing report to check parity across all channels as well as use for a yielding tool.Qualifications:Bachelor's or related degree preferred5 years revenue experienceAbility to manage employees, training, and coaching skills with evidence of developing exceptionally motivated teamsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, administrative, multi-tasking, organization, and prioritization skillsExcellent interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), fluent English, and articulateAbility to work efficiently, independently, and cohesively, consistently producing quality resultsComputer literate in Microsoft Windows applications requiredMinimum age requirement is 21Tipped PositionThis position does not earn tipsBenefits:Multiple benefit plans to suit your needsPaid time off401K opportunitiesOpportunities for advancementPositive and respectful work environment where diversity is valuedGenerous employee discounts on dining, retail, amusements, and hotelsCommunity volunteer opportunitiesDisclaimer: The above information is intended as a high-level overview of the responsibilities and qualifications for the position and does not represent the full job description which will include all responsibilities, skills, duties, requirements, and working conditions associated with the job.
