Job Description

The Hotel Laundry Summer Internship at Moody Gardens is a management-focused learning experience designed for students pursuing careers in hospitality operations. This internship provides hands-on exposure to the systems, logistics, and workflow management that support a high-volume hotel environment.

Interns rotate through laundry operations while also participating in cross-department learning experiences to understand how housekeeping, guest services, and operational coordination work together to maintain hotel standards.

This internship is structured to treat participants as developing hospitality leaders, emphasizing operational awareness, efficiency, quality control, and team coordination.

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university or recently graduated (within the past 12 months)
• Pursuing a degree in Hospitality Management , Hotel Operations, Business, or a closely related field
• Demonstrated interest in hotel operations and operational leadership
• Willingness to learn the operational and logistical side of hospitality management
• Professional attitude with strong reliability and accountability
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
• Comfortable working in an operational setting that includes standing, lifting, and movement
• Effective communication and organizational skills
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
• Basic understanding of hospitality workflow preferred but not required
