Job Description and Requirements Be part of Randolph-Brooks Federal Credit Union Summer Intern Class of 2026! RBFCU is seeking talented and motivated students for our Summer 2026 Internship Program located at our Live Oak Administrative Service Center. This year’s 12-week program will run from May 18th to August 7th and is an excellent opportunity for students to gain knowledge within their field of study and to immerse themselves into our credit union philosophy of “people helping people.” Responsibilities Design and build RESTful web service APIs in Java that enable and support our member-facing web applications and our partners. Work collaboratively as part of an agile team to deliver solutions to business needs. Build clean, testable code using JUnit and Postman. Work with standard dev tools like Eclipse, Git, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, and web app servers such as WebSphere or Liberty. Meet locally with the RBFCU mentor regularly to receive guidance, support, and feedback, and complete a final evaluation to assess performance, review goals, and discuss developmental needs. Engage in assignments relevant to credit union business needs. Internship Benefits Paid internship ($20/hour). Enhanced knowledge of Web development skills. Minimum Requirements Currently enrolled at an accredited university, in an undergraduate or graduate degree program. Cover letter indicating your position(s) of interest and resume. Strong academic record (3.0 GPA preferred). Ability to work in a supportive team environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Ability to work in a dynamic, fast‑paced environment. Attention to detail and accuracy. Strong foundational skills in Java and Object‑Oriented Programming. Familiarity with web frameworks, such as Spring MVC or Spring Boot, and SQL is a plus.
