About us: CGI Digital helps small businesses grow through digital marketing that increases visibility, generates leads, and connects them with their communities. We're looking for a Paid Marketing Specialist who enjoys working with data, solving problems, and learning new technology. This is an entry-level training position designed to develop you into a Google Ads Coordinator, where you'll manage client relationships, recommend advertising strategies, and help businesses grow.

What you'll do: You'll support our Google Ads Coordinators while learning how to manage advertising campaigns independently.

\n
• Build and optimize campaigns: Assist with Google Search, Performance Max, Display, YouTube, Demand Gen, and Local Services Ads.
\n
• Improve performance: Review keywords, search terms, negative keywords, ad copy, bidding, and budgets.
\n
• Analyze results: Monitor clicks, conversions, cost per lead, and other performance metrics.
\n
• Support reporting: Learn Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, and Looker Studio to track and communicate results.
\n
• Assist with onboarding: Help launch new campaigns, prepare reports, and participate in client meetings.
\n

What we're looking for

Required Qualifications

• Familiarity with Google Ads, particularly Search campaigns, keywords, and campaign performance metrics.
\n
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify trends.
\n
• Ability to learn new software, advertising platforms, and processes quickly.
\n
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
\n
• Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working both independently and collaboratively.
\n
• Interest in digital marketing, online advertising, and helping small businesses grow.
\n

Preferred Qualifications

\n
• 6–12 months of experience in digital marketing, paid advertising, or a related field.
\n
• Google Ads certification or relevant coursework in digital marketing.
\n
• Experience analyzing performance data and making recommendations based on results.
\n
• Experience working in an agency environment or supporting multiple clients or projects.
\n
• Basic understanding of Google Analytics 4, Google Tag Manager, or Looker Studio.
\n
• Previous customer service, account management, or client-facing experience.
\n

Compensation, benefits and growth

\n
• Base Salary Range: $45,000-$48,000
\n
• Quarterly performance bonus: Tied to client retention & account growth: target 5K a year
\n
