The Town of Essex Parks and Recreation (EPR) Department is receiving applications for regular full-time employment for a Parks Maintenance Technician I or Parks Maintenance Technician II.
Under the direct supervision of the Assistant Director of Parks, Trails and Open Spaces, the Parks Maintenance Technician works to effectively implement safe, aesthetically pleasing, and functional grounds and facilities for the public to enjoy in support of the development, maintenance, and stewardship of a comprehensive system of recreational services.
Applicants who have a high school diploma or GED education, a valid driver's license and a minimum of 2 - 4 years overall relevant experience are encouraged to apply.

This is a full-time hourly position covered by our AFSCME union contract.
