Methodist Health System is seeking a dedicated and patient-centered Physical Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team, delivering high-quality rehabilitative care within our hospitals and clinics across Texas. In this role, you will provide comprehensive evaluation and evidence-based treatment to a diverse adult and geriatric patient population, including those recovering from surgery, injury, neurological events, and chronic conditions. Drawing on your clinical expertise, you will perform thorough musculoskeletal and functional assessments, develop individualized plans of care, and implement a wide range of therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, gait and balance training, and pain management strategies. You will document all care in the electronic medical record in a timely and accurate manner, tracking progress with objective outcome measures and collaborating closely with physicians, nurses, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-focused care. Consistent with the culture of integrity, compassion, and accountability at Methodist Health System, you will educate patients and their families on diagnoses, treatment plans, safety, and home exercise programs, empowering them to participate actively in their recovery. You will manage a dynamic caseload, prioritizing patient needs in both inpatient and outpatient settings, adhering to all regulatory, infection-control, and safety guidelines while contributing to a supportive and inclusive work environment. The Physical Therapist will participate in discharge planning, recommend appropriate equipment, and facilitate safe transitions of care to home or other levels of service. You will also engage in ongoing professional development, quality improvement initiatives, and evidence-based practice projects that support Methodist Health System’s mission to improve and save lives through high-quality care. This full-time position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, and retirement options, along with opportunities to collaborate with experienced clinicians and grow your career within a respected Texas healthcare organization.
