Methodist Health System is seeking a compassionate and skilled Physical Therapist to join our Healthcare & Medical Services team in our hospitals and clinics across Texas. In this role, you will provide high-quality, evidence-based physical therapy services to a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from surgery, injury, illness, and chronic conditions. Guided by Methodist Health System’s commitment to integrity, compassion, and accountability, you will work closely with an interdisciplinary team of nurses, physicians, and other allied health professionals to help patients restore function, maximize independence, and improve overall quality of life. As a Physical Therapist with Methodist Health System, you will perform comprehensive evaluations, develop individualized plans of care, and deliver treatments that may include therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, gait and balance training, neuromuscular re-education, pain management strategies, and functional mobility training. You will regularly reassess patient progress, modify treatment plans as needed, and clearly communicate goals and outcomes with patients, families, and the care team. You will also provide detailed education on home exercise programs, injury prevention, and safe mobility to support a successful transition from hospital or clinic to home and community settings. You will be responsible for accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record, adherence to regulatory and professional standards, and active participation in quality improvement and patient safety initiatives. Drawing from Methodist Health System’s collaborative and inclusive culture, you will contribute to team huddles, case conferences, and care coordination efforts, ensuring that each patient receives a seamless, patient-centered experience. You may rotate across a variety of settings, such as acute care, inpatient rehabilitation, and outpatient services, providing opportunities to broaden your clinical skills and engage with patients across the continuum of care. Methodist Health System supports your professional growth through access to continuing education, clinical mentorship, and opportunities to participate in program development and evidence-based practice initiatives. In return, you bring strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and a genuine commitment to compassionate, patient-focused care. This position offers a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including medical, dental, and vision coverage, life insurance, retirement savings options, and paid time off. Joining Methodist Health System as a Physical Therapist means becoming part of a mission-driven organization dedicated to improving and saving lives while fostering a supportive environment where you can build a meaningful and rewarding career.
