Overtown Youth Center is seeking a dedicated and student-centered Post-Secondary Success Coach to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a motivated, relationship-driven professional who is passionate about supporting young adults ages 18–25 as they persist through college, vocational training, certification programs, workforce pathways, military service, and career advancement opportunities. As the Post-Secondary Success Coach, you will provide individualized coaching, case management, and resource navigation support to participants enrolled in OYC Miami's post-secondary success initiatives.
Through a structured and high-touch coaching model, the Post-Secondary Success Coach will work closely with participants to identify goals, address barriers, strengthen academic and career readiness skills, and support persistence toward educational and workforce attainment milestones. Participants will receive guidance in academic progress monitoring, financial aid and college persistence support, career planning, and connection to wraparound services that promote stability and success. The role also includes conducting needs assessments, facilitating one-on-one coaching sessions, and coordinating exposure and workforce development opportunities aligned with participant goals.
In this role, you will help create a supportive, accountable, and empowering environment that fosters persistence, leadership development, self-sufficiency, and personal growth. Rather than relying on traditional short-term programming, Overtown Youth Center utilizes a long-term engagement model designed to support participants through transitions into and throughout post-secondary education, workforce training, and employment.
Overtown Youth Center is committed to enriching the lives of youth and families by offering opportunities for growth, development, and success. We provide a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment where students are encouraged to explore their talents, learn new skills, and express themselves. Our focus is on empowering youth to achieve their full potential through various educational programs, including the arts.
A supportive work environment where creativity and professional development are encouraged.
Competitive compensation and benefits package.
A collaborative team that values diversity, equity, and inclusion.
