We are looking for a flexible and dependable Assistant Teacher / Floater to support classrooms across our center.

This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children of different ages and supporting a team environment.

Position Summary

The Floater Assistant provides support where needed throughout the center, helping maintain smooth daily operations and ensuring classrooms have the assistance they need to provide high-quality care and education.

Responsibilities

• Assist teachers in classrooms with infants, toddlers, preschoolers, or VPK as needed

• Supervise and engage children during activities, transitions, and outdoor play

• Support classroom routines, learning activities, and supervision

• Help maintain clean and organized classroom environments

• Provide coverage during staff breaks or absences

• Build positive relationships with children, staff, and families

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required

• Experience working with children required

• Must meet Florida DCF training requirements
  
  
• Flexible, dependable, and comfortable supporting multiple classrooms

• Positive team attitude and willingness to help where needed
