Why Join Us Competitive compensation with permanent and fee‑for‑service options Permanent salary target: $155K–$185K+ based on experience Fee‑for‑service option available based on consult and visit volume Stable hospital‑based work with consistent patient need Flexible structure depending on candidate preference and availability Strong referral flow and clinical support Collaborative work with physicians, nursing, social work, and hospital teams Opportunity to focus on psychiatric consults, medication management, and patient care Supportive leadership and mission‑driven environment Long‑term stability with room to grow clinically Job Details Location: West Hartford, CT Salary: $155,000 – $185,000 per year Responsibilities Provide psychiatric evaluations and behavioral health consultations Complete hospital‑based psychiatric consults and follow‑up visits Assess adult and/or geriatric patients with behavioral health needs Manage psychiatric medications and treatment recommendations Collaborate with physicians, nurses, social workers, and care teams Support crisis intervention, treatment planning, and care coordination Document visits, assessments, and clinical recommendations in the EMR Provide compassionate, patient‑centered psychiatric care Qualifications Active Connecticut APRN license PMHNP certification strongly preferred Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner experience Hospital, inpatient, consult‑liaison, adult psychiatry, or geriatric psychiatry experience preferred Strong medication management and psychiatric assessment skills DEA and controlled substance prescribing ability preferred Comfortable working in a hospital‑based interdisciplinary setting Equal Opportunity Employer Jobot is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
