Company DescriptionIDEALFORCE has a CONTRACT position available immediately for a Quality Assurance Engineer to join our customer in Austin, TX. This is an ONSITE position. Client is considering only LOCAL CANDIDATES for this position.Job Description - Effectively translate business requirements and use cases into comprehensive test plans, test scripts, and test cases based on an iterative development approach.- Develop and execute system test scripts, conditions, cases, and jobs.- Participate in SDLC Phase reviews.- Develop and maintain QA policies, procedures and methodology for system test planning, development and execution. - Develop automated regression scripts and ensure Regression testing is planned and executed appropriately.- Track/document and work to resolve all complex problems, defects or issues. - Plan, manage and provide system test status on Application Support and Development Releases. - Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications- 5+ years experience in QA Testing. - Full understanding of Software Development Life Cycle. - Understanding of Service Oriented Architecture and Agile development methodologies.- Demonstrated ability to communicate and collaborate with cross functional teams.- Strong understanding of quality assurance and system test tools/processes. - Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.- Experience with business analysis, system design, and application development. - Excellent organizational skills are required in order to effectively prioritize and execute tasks.- Exceptional customer service orientation skills.- Experience with Microsoft .Net and Oracle development.- Good experience in HP Quality Center.- Basic database and SQL concepts knowledge.- Familiarity with version control standards and tools.- Excellent Communication skills.- Any experience testing web applications using HP QTP or Selenium would be a huge plus.
