Job Title: Site Superintendent - Commercial Construction

Pay Range: $85,000-$105,000 per year, depending on experience

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Supervise all on-site activities, ensuring projects meet quality standards, timelines, and budget goals.
  • Enforce OSHA standards, site safety protocols, and industry best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, address challenges, and uphold project specifications.
  • Review project plans, schedules, and budgets, and provide updates to stakeholders.
  • Lead site meetings, maintain clear communication, and resolve conflicts or challenges as they arise.
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local building codes and regulations.
  • Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering professional development.
  • Maintain accurate project records, including schedules, budgets, and safety compliance documentation.

Qualifications:

  • Experience : Minimum 5 years as a Site Superintendent or similar role in commercial and government construction projects.
  • Certifications: OSHA certifications (30-hour minimum required) and site safety training are mandatory.
  • Skills: Strong leadership, communication, and organizational abilities with the capability to manage multiple subcontractors and timelines.
  • Technical Knowledge : Proficiency in interpreting blueprints, project specifications, and technical documents.
  • Regulations Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of building codes, safety protocols, and federal/state regulations.
  • Technology: Proficient in construction management software and basic computer applications.
  • Other Requirements: Valid driver's license, ability to travel to various project sites, and the physical stamina to work on active construction sites.
