Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher position is available in Derry, NH, specializing in elementary-age students. This contract role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by supporting students with individualized education plans (IEPs) through tailored services and collaboration with classroom teachers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide case management and direct special education services to elementary students.
• Develop, write, and implement IEPs in compliance with applicable regulations.
• Work closely with classroom teachers to coordinate modifications and accommodations that support student success.
• Maintain detailed documentation and progress reports.
• Assist with transition planning and summer programming as needed.

Qualifications:

• Must hold Registered Nurse Licensure.
• Experience in special education settings, particularly with elementary students.
• Strong knowledge of IEP development and implementation.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with teachers, students, and families.
• Ability to manage a caseload and maintain accurate records.

Job Details:

• Location: Derry, NH
• Hours: 35 hours per week, 5 days a week
• Start Date: ASAP with contract through June, including summer opportunities
• Position focus includes School Nurse responsibilities for Extended School Year (ESY) services
