We are seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to lead the corporate accounting function for an industrial/manufacturing organization. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree and strong full-cycle accounting experience, with a background managing month-end and year-end close, inventory valuation, budgeting and forecasting, accounting processes, and internal controls. Manufacturing cost accounting experience is a plus but not required. Candidates with prior Accounting Manager experience in a manufacturing environment will be particularly well aligned with the role. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity with a salary of approximately $100,000.

• Experience in general accounting with a solid understanding of core accounting principles.
• Hands-on ability to prepare journal entries and maintain general ledger accuracy.
• Familiarity with corporate tax, sales tax, or corporate tax return support activities.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify and resolve accounting discrepancies.
• Capacity to manage responsibilities independently in an on-site work setting.
• Prior experience in manufacturing environments is preferred.
• Exposure to inventory accounting or cost accounting is a plus.
