Job Description

Duties:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs in meeting activity needs.
  • Prepare training nomination packages for approval and signature that require Command endorsement.
  • Develop and deliver whole comprehensive training courses for non-recurring training requirements.
  • Provide reports and information briefings concerning mandatory supervisory training and After-Action Reports.

Qualifications:

I have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the next lower grade level (GS-07) or pay band in the federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector performing the following duties: 1) Developing training plans; 2) Providing guidance on the preparation and submission of training requests; 3) Providing recommendations to address individual training needs and program compliance, and 4) Coordinating training review boards/panels to determine order of merit for required rating and ranking of training packages. Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.

Education:

In lieu of specialized experience, you may qualify with the following education or combination of both education and experience: Master's or equivalent graduate degree. Or 2 full years of progressively higher-level graduate education leading to such a degree or LL.B. or J.D., if related.
