WAREHOUSE LEAD

The Warehouse Lead plays a crucial role in managing daily warehouse operations, overseeing inventory control, and ensuring efficient workflow while maintaining safety standards. This position involves supervising a small to medium-sized team, coordinating shipping and receiving activities, and handling both perishable and non-perishable goods. The role operates primarily during day shifts and requires proficiency with warehouse management systems and inventory tracking software. Bilingual skills in Spanish are a valuable asset for effective communication within the team and across operations.

Responsibilities

• Manage inventory to maintain accurate stock levels and optimize storage
• Supervise and support a team of 1-15 warehouse staff
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies
• Coordinate shipping and receiving processes to meet operational deadlines
• Oversee stock replenishment to avoid shortages and delays
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently
• Conduct quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products
• Fulfill customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and performance

Preferred Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in warehouse operations
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Forklift Operator Certification
• Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems and inventory tracking software
• Knowledge of safety regulations within warehouse environments
• Strong team leadership and communication skills
• Effective time management and problem-solving abilities
• Proficiency in equipment operation
• Spanish language skills for team and operational communication
