Job Description
Show Flooring is Chicagoland’s destination for discount flooring, and we’re looking for a motivated Warehouse LEAD to join our team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys leading a team, and wants to grow with a family-owned business.
Responsibilities
Lead, train, and schedule warehouse staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Safely load/unload customers purchasing material
Receive, inspect, and organize incoming shipments and deliveries
Maintain accurate, up-to-date inventory of all flooring products
Operate a forklift safely and efficiently
Enforce OSHA safety standards and keep the warehouse clean and organized
Assist customers on the sales floor when needed
Track and report material usage, damages, and returns
Communicate effectively with management, colleagues, and customers
Requirements
Previous warehouse, logistics, or inventory management experience
Leadership experience (training, scheduling, delegating tasks)
Forklift certification (or ability to obtain quickly)
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift
Must be available to work weekends
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
