Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Responsibilities for this Position ROLE AND POSITION OBJECTIVES:At GDMS, Systems Engineers can advance into technical leadership, program management, or advanced engineering specialties. Leadership programs, rotational assignments, and career development pathways ensure you have opportunities to expand your skills and grow your career.As a Systems Engineer on RSP, you'll be part of a cross-functional engineering team delivering hardware, software and systems solutions. This Systems Engineer role may focus on one or more of the following areas:Test & Integration Engineering: hardware/software validation, verification, and performance testingRequirements Engineering: documenting, analyzing, and managing system requirementsModel-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): system modeling, simulations, and design analysisHardware-Systems Engineering: design, integration, and troubleshooting of hardware systemsRequired Qualifications/Skills/Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Mechanical Engineering or related STEM.
