Mosaic Montessori is growing, and we are excited to welcome a new Assistant Teacher to our team.

This role is perfect for someone who enjoys working with young children in both indoor and outdoor learning environments and values calm, respectful, child centered education.

About the Role

• Full time position
• Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM
• Fridays, 7:30 AM to 2:30 PM
• School year runs mid August through mid June
• Located in Carnation, Washington

What We’re Looking For

• A love for working with children ages Preschool through Kindergarten or Elementary
• Prior experience working in special education or with neurodivergent children is required
• Comfort learning and teaching in nature based settings
• An interest in Montessori, RIE, or respectful, child led education
• Ability to remain calm, patient, and flexible throughout the day
• Appreciation for eco friendly and inclusive learning environments
• Ability to stand for long periods of time during the school day
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds as needed for child safety and classroom support

Pay and Benefits

• Starting at $21-22 per hour
• 30 to 40 hours per week
