Be part of the opening team at Hershey Social Restaurant + Bar, downtown Hershey’s newest restaurant and bar. Located near the iconic intersection of Cocoa and Chocolate Avenue, Hershey Social features bold flavors, signature cocktails, and over-the-top desserts inspired by Hershey’s chocolate roots.

This position is responsible for assisting servers with the service of food and beverages to guests and maintaining a neat and orderly dining room and the guest service area.

Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):

• Interacting with guests in a professional and courteous manner*
• Assisting servers with the service of food and beverage to guests as needed*
• Pouring coffee and water for guests when required*
• Assisting servers in restocking all dining and service areas, cleaning and resetting tables*
• Ensuring that condiments are amply supplied on the guest table prior to the guests taking their seats*
• Completing daily and weekly cleaning sheets*
• Forwarding any guest concerns to the applicable wait staff person or supervisor*
• Clean floors as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Must be 16 years of age or older.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Must demonstrate an ability to work in an organized and efficient manner
• Must demonstrate an ability to work with limited supervision
• Must be able to effectively communicate with co-workers and staff
• Must present a clean and appropriate image

Job Demands:

• The working schedule for this position includes a flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to work on one's feet for long periods of time
• Must be able to stoop, bend, push, and lift up to 40 pounds
• Must work in a clean, efficient, and orderly manner
