Job Description
We are seeking a compassionate and dependable assistant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for caring for children ranging from 2.5-4 years old, guiding their growth and development through playful activities and nourishing meals. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a childcare setting and be enthusiastic about providing a safe and educational environment for children.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide routine care for children, including feeding, diaper changing, and nap time
- Plan and lead developmentally appropriate activities, such as arts and crafts, circle and story time, and outdoor playtime
- Ensure the safety of all children under your care by adhering to the facility's policies and procedures
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and daily activities
- Work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and supportive daycare environment
-Organize, clean and maintain childcare space and prepare meals for children.
Minimum qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- At least 1 year of experience working in a daycare or childcare center
- Ability to communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff members
- Familiarity with age-appropriate developmental milestones and activities
- CPR and First Aid certification preferred
- Must pass background check and health screening
