At Northern Arizona Periodontics (NAZPerio), our Surgical Assistants are an essential part of our specialty surgical team. • Support sterilization and infection control protocols
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation
  • Support patient education and post-operative communication
  • Enter treatment plans, deliver pre/post-operative instructions and consent forms
  • Create and edit chart notes and patient letters
  • Help maintain smooth schedule flow and clinic organization
  • Support room turnover and operational readiness throughout the day
  • Participate in onboarding, training, and workflow development
Qualifications
  • Prior dental assisting experience strongly preferred
  • Arizona X-ray certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
  • CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months)
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to stay organized and focused in a quick systems-focused environment
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Reliable transportation and flexibility between office locations
Why NAZPerio?

We are building a long-term, high-performing specialty team focused on:

  • excellent patient care
