Location : Waterbury, CT

Type : Hybrid (1-2 days per week onsite)

Duration : Long-Term Contract

Description :

We are seeking an experienced Technical Project Manager to lead complex healthcare IT initiatives in an enterprise environment. The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of technical project management experience and a strong background managing Epic EMR/EHR implementations, upgrades, integrations, migrations, and optimization projects.

Responsibilities:

• Lead end-to-end healthcare IT and technical projects from planning through go-live.
• Manage scope, timelines, budgets, risks, resources, and project dependencies.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams across applications, infrastructure, networking, security, interfaces, and operations.
• Lead Epic-related implementations, upgrades, integrations, testing, migrations, and go-live activities.
• Partner with clinical, operational, technical, and vendor stakeholders to ensure successful delivery.
• Drive issue resolution and keep projects aligned with business objectives.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of Technical Project Management experience, preferably in healthcare.
• Proven experience leading Epic EMR/EHR projects.
• Strong understanding of healthcare IT, workflows, integrations, interoperability, and data migration.
• Experience managing complex technical environments and enterprise-level projects.
• Strong communication, leadership, organization, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred:

• PMP, Scrum Master, or equivalent certification.
• Experience with HL7, FHIR, APIs, and interface engines.
• Knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare regulatory requirements.
