Assistant Manager Position At Uptown Cheapskate Woodlands

We are not your typical retail store. We buy, sell, and trade clothes from top brands like Abercrombie to luxury names like Gucci. Our style leans toward teens and young adults but everyone can find something to love at Uptown! We are seeking a strong, fun assistant manager to assist our store leader with the team, inventory management, organizing, etc. You must be a go-getter who gets the job done! Must have team spirit and a positive attitude (don't kill our vibe!). Must have great energy and be a team player.

Responsibilities:

• We'll train you to sort & evaluate incoming inventory using our proprietary software
• Manage inventory through regular markdowns and merchandising
• Direct a team of 8-20 people daily
• Assist with running the store with passion and drive (be a do-er)
• Must have at least 1-2 years experience in fashion retail management in the last 4 years
• Must have worked in fashion retail and "lives" it...understands fashion trends and brands
• Must be a team player, have great initiative, be responsible
• Must have open availability to work weekends
• Must work with store leadership to consistently meet goals
• Must be able to fill in for call-outs from staff members
• Must have strong work ethic!
• Must be able to celebrate successes

Compensation: $34,800.00 - $46,800.00 per year
