Job Description

Classification Summary
The primary function of an employee in this class is to set up for and officiate at volleyball games; supervises gymnasium functions during the events. The position supervises subordinate game officials and is under the direct supervision of a Recreation Supervisor or Program Coordinator, although some latitude is allowed for independent judgment and initiative. The principal duties of the position are performed in a public gymnasium environment.

Qualifications:

• Preferred, but not required: One (1) to two (2) years experience in the activity being officiated; or
• Any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge and abilities necessary to perform the work.
• Must pass background check for applicants 18 and over.
