Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Local Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently within designated routes. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, excellent driving skills, and the ability to handle various types of vehicles, including refrigerated trailers, flatbeds, and roll-off trucks.
Duties
We have a major Retail customer that will run Monday-Saturday, 6 days a week.
This position offers Home Daily opportunities.
Qualifications include holding a CDL-A license, a clean driving record, and a background, along with Moffett forklift experience(we can train).
Applicants must have the ability to work independently with efficiency and focus, preferable experience in building products, strong customer service skills, high integrity, and a positive attitude.
A minimum of two years of driving experience is required, as well as forklift experience with a piggyback straight truck or trailer.
Applicants are expected to have a smartphone and be comfortable using a Moffett forklift to make deliveries within a 100-250 mile radius, interacting with customers and/or crews at job sites while providing exceptional service to each customer, aiming for continuous improvement.
