A school-based Registered Nurse (RN) is needed to provide essential healthcare services in an educational setting in Storrs Mansfield, CT. This contract position offers the opportunity to support student health and safety while working closely with school staff and families.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver nursing care to students, including assessment, treatment, and management of health conditions.
• Administer medications and provide first aid as needed.
• Collaborate with educational staff, parents, and healthcare providers to support student wellness plans.
• Maintain accurate health records and comply with school health policies.
• Participate in health education and promotion within the school community.
• Respond promptly to medical emergencies during school hours.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Valid RN license.
• Experience working as an RN in a school or pediatric setting preferred.
• Knowledge of school health policies and pediatric care.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
