Job Overview:

Responsible for attending to the needs of all people who come in to the office. They are the face of the school, so their role of being friendly and welcoming is critical.

Reports to:

Building principal

Essential Job Functions:

• Greeting every person that walks into the office with a smiling, friendly face
• Answering multi-line phones, delivering notes to teachers/students regarding a change in transportation or a reminder from parent or other various reasons
• Registration
• Collecting a variety of payments from parents and students, writing up daily deposits of this money
• Monitoring attendance, giving accurate reports
• Collecting documents, filing documents
• Printing reports
• Transfer of school records
• Assist with sick or hurt kids, taking temps, writing nurse or injury reports, administering medication to students
• Following protocol for visitors entering the building
• Any other duties assigned by supervisor

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Must be able to be friendly and welcoming at all times
• Needs to be organized and a multi tasker
• Needs to be a problem solver and able to work independently, and as a team
• Basic computer skills

Physical Demands:

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as well as talk and hear. The employee must regularly lift and/or move 10 pounds, and frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
