Security Officer - Part-Time Patrol Rover

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, perform routine rounds, and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. You will respond to concerns, document observations, and communicate clearly with tenants, visitors, and site staff while providing a welcoming customer experience. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property management by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout commercial office buildings, common areas, garages, stairwells, and perimeter areas, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Monitor access points and respond to access control concerns, alarms, and suspicious activity in a calm, problem-solving manner to help to deter unwanted activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations, assist with crowd and traffic flow in loading dock and parking areas, and coordinate notifications to property management and/or public responders as needed.
• Complete routine reports and shift documentation, including incident reports and patrol observations, and communicate relevant information to oncoming personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
